Ergonomics Site Leader

Mission:
In the realm of ergonomics, the applicant will be responsible for using data from different sources to ensure the optimum efficiency, comfort and design in

fitting the machine to individuals.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities

 

·        Conduct gap analyzes and develop action plans guaranteeing the site's compliance with state and federal regulations as well as internal requirements.

·        Work with teammates to complete/close out corrective actions in a timely well-defined manner.

·        Become the site resource/expert on ergonomics.

·        Utilize different methodologies, A4, 5-why, short loop, to analyze information during problem solving events.

·        Maintain data, charts, and graphs in order to justify capital expense for ergonomic improvements

·        Lead the ergonomic committee, a team of six, to listen and work with fellow team members to develop solutions to workplace ergonomic concerns.

·        Share ergo solutions with other facilities using single page notices to full production videos detailing improvements made.

·        Participate in equipment improvement projects, Kaizen/BIB/5-S to improve workplace safety and efficiency.

·        Be the site team member to facilitate internal and external ergo audits.

·        Personally present ergo concerns and improvements to upper-level management.

·        Utilize various ergonomic software and maintain the database to track improvements.

·        Work with engineers to write/modify work instructions to complete ergonomic workstation improvements.

 

Requirements:

 

·        BS in Industrial Ergonomics/Safety

·        Excellent knowledge of Microsoft software

·        Be a team oriented coach and mentor

·        Flexible on schedule, we’re a 24/7 operation
