Sector Maintenance Manager (Experienced Level Professional)

The Opportunity
This Leader will be responsible for a team of ~20-25 maintenance professionals in an area of the facility.  They will ensure the availability and durability of equipment in their sector while optimizing maintenance costs and energy in a continuous improvement approach. This is to allow operations to achieve its goals of safety, quality, cost, and production.

What you will do

  • Safety requirements are prioritized and always ensured (personnel and equipment)
  • The maintenance strategy is applied to equipment criticality
  • Maintenance plans are implemented, to include effective reaction to breakdowns and proactive work on machinery to improve control of the process (reliability).
  • Effectiveness of machine interventions is continuously optimized (The analysis of maintenance results is ensured and implementation of necessary actions to ensure continuous progress over short- and medium-term horizons)
  • Maintenance cost is optimized: operational efficiency, energy, and spare parts consumption
  • Master the tools and processes of lean manufacturing
  • The reliability of equipment is ensured, by dealing with obsolescence cases
  • Resources are adapted (competency and quantity), training and succession plans are created and carried out

What you will bring

  • 3-5 years prior maintenance management experience
  • Confirmed leadership of teams, have examples of the ability to facilitate progress
  • Technical degree is a plus
  • Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment
  • Consistent record of development of people through coaching and mentoring and establishment of development plans
